Weekly Review: Alpha Trine by Lexi Ander *FREE eBook*

Alpha Trine (The Valespian Pact #1)Alpha Trine by Lexi Ander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alpha Trine is an amazing piece of *FREE* fiction. I'd enjoy this if I had to pay for it. To date, I've read it three times. There were so many elements to the science fiction story and I couldn't believe the amount of information the author included in the story ... without confusing the reader.

This story does include a three way, which let's say manifested, in a strange way when it came to Alpha. He was a distinct personality from Dargon, which was impressive since they have a close knit connection. I can't say more without giving away a really interesting part of the plot that I don't want to ruin for readers though.

Best of all to me was the Mar'Sani world. I loved the inclusion of their society. My only quibble... Earth mythology was included in their society in such a vital way, but humans don't live there and they don't apparently have had anything historically to do with the Mar'Sani. The humans in the story world might not have had the same myths we do in 'real life' but that dichotomy still struck me and pulled me out of the foreign feel I was relishing. Still, the intricacies of the race make me want to know more.

There were so many questions left unanswered, though with the focus of the story, I did feel like it came to a natural conclusion that made sense. I eagerly await a sequel, checking for it often. I'll even pay for it!!

So, if you love fantastic science fiction, tons of creative aliens, plot, intrigue, MM love and more ... go download this story NOW! It's free, yes FREE< so what are you waiting for?

  1. I couldn't find any sites that had the book to download. I even went on the author's site. Is it still available?

    1. I wonder if the author is doing an edit or planning to publish it? Sorry for the difficulty. I tried a few links and did manage to find a place you can still read this online for free. You need to join the Goodreads Gay Science fiction group though. You can find the group through this link. Then look at the celebration stories.

  3. Thanks for introducing me to this book. It was a very interesting read and I'm looking forward to part 2. Imagine my surprise when I went on Less Than Three Press website for upcoming releases and saw Alpha Trine will be out in September and the sequel is being written. Yay!

    1. You're very welcome, Dreamseeker! I wasn't surprised when I heard it was removed from ARe and other places. I can't wait to find out more. The world building was phenomenal for sci-fi fans who love the genre type, which I do. Hopefully it won't take too long to get the sequel.
