Review, Feature, and a contest!! Moments in Time by Karen Stivali

Karen Stivali's Moments in Time series is about to get a new installment!! Are you following this series?

Moment of Impact is the first book in the series. I read this a few months ago and really liked it. My first thought was that wow, this story really seems to remain true to the age and maturity of the characters. I see so many romance stories force college guys into 'I'm looking for Mr. Right' instead of 'I'm looking for Mr. Right Now' that it doesn't feel believable. I know the guys stay together through the book, but it doesn't feel like the forced 'I met this guy and loved him forever' vibe.

Do you like a story with sex? Well, then you'll like this story. Okay, so it borders on too much, but I actually liked it. It built on the aspect I spoke of above. Guys, especially young guys, have active sex lives. So do Collin and Tanner. These guys really, really get it on... once they both learn they're not straight.

That's all I'm gonna tell you of the actual plot, other than of course there is an outside force of conflict between Collin and Tanner, and lo and behold... it's both a mix of family and religion. The story explores those aspects, and how someone deals with the internal and external conflicts those can bring when you're not exactly who you're family thinks. I think a lot of gay or bi readers can identify with that, and that really sucks them in!
