    1. Hey M! I answered on twitter too but it was Cris Griffin. She did cover sfor Kim Fielding's Good Bones and The Sky is Dead by Sue Brown too. I think she did an awesome job!

  2. Oh wow, really love the cover. Will you be putting it on ARe as well after it comes out? Can't wait for the ebook to come out. It was a great story when I read it on your blog. Keep up the great work. Still waiting on benny's story as well. Absolutely love the carthera stories, wish there were more of them. Have a great evening. :)

    1. Hi Chelle,

Yeah, DSP always puts eBooks on ARe, Amazon, their site, etc... I know so many people are waiting on so many stories. Benny's, the new trilogy in the Carthera world, more Synchronicity, AE then Nicklaus' story, finishing Paper Trail, sequel to Escaping the Pain, more on the flash I did last week, 'Mine'... and oh so many more. I guess I'm really happy that so many readers love my stories. I just wish I were a bit more capable of dedicating writing time to them. Hope you had a good evening as well!!

  3. I like the cover, it looks nice and different from what I imagined!

    1. I don't think, short of me doing it myself, that the isitziu would look exactly like I'd imagined them either. They're pretty vaguely described in the stories so they're very individualized for readers.

  4. Lovely! Not what I imagined them looking like, either, but still quite nicely done!

    1. Thanks Angie! They're more silver than I expected, but better than pink. :) That really wouldn't have fit.

  5. Ooh nice. They look nearly like what id imagined, except with shorter hair. Nice professional looking cover, sometimes you get ones that are just cringey but that's good.

    1. I agree. The artist did a wonderful job. I was hesitant about a drawn cover but with sci-fi it gives it a more old school feel, and it allowed more latitude in setting up the scene that photograph covers just couldn't have accomplished. Thanks Dreadfulfaery!

    1. Thank you!! :) Just early 2014, so far. We're in the editing phase, but that's rolling along quickly. I'll definitely post concrete information when I have it.

  7. Hey Cia, is the cover image of a particular scene in the story? Seral and Ryker look more human than I pictured them to be, but it's a pretty nice cover

  8. Oh, I think there's a typo - an extra 'O' in Caeorleia... right?

    1. I know, me too on the human part but it was impossible to explain how I saw them differently. That is a representation of the initial scene on landing on Caeorleia, with a few things like the position being easier for the artist and the wrap to keep things somewhat clean. AND a ton of thanks on the series title! I so didn't see it and no one else did either!

    2. Ooh I really liked how you crafted the landing scene. Can't wait to get a copy of the published T.E. and read it all again. And you're welcome! I know all too well how disastrous it can be to send something out only to realize too late that there's a typo. A couple of painful experiences later, I can't seem to turn off my nitpicky-proofreader command now no matter what I read. Awfully distracting, especially when trying to relax with a story or absorb serious stuff like T&Cs on contracts. Looking forward to Jan 27th! :D
