“Everyone have their slipcards? You’re going to need them.” Barron ignored the lecturing teacher. Everyone waited in the parking lot, at his request, while he went over all the rules. Like they didn’t all know them already.

Well, maybe not the new kid.

Who dressed like that? He was obviously trying to attract all sorts of the wrong attention. Guys around here did not wear their hair long and flowing, curling around their shoulders. Jeans were meant to fit relaxed and held up with a belt, not tight and barely reaching sharp hipbones just begging to be squeezed in a bruising grip.

Barron could see the new kid’s hip bones because his shirt was rucked up under his black jacket. Black on black, how original. Emo brat with the dark clothes, flaring nostrils, and narrowed eyes. The only thing he couldn’t ruin were his soft lips, somehow a much darker red than he would have expected from his honeyed skin. Those lips had been haunting Barron for more than a week. They didn’t have classes together, thankfully.

“Barron.”

He strutted when he walked. Cocky bastard.

“Mr. Pernell!”

Barron jerked. He scowled. “What?”

“Excuse me? You want to rephrase that.” The now was unspoken but hung clearly in the air. His teacher could have his dad on face-to-face conference in seconds. It wouldn’t be the first time, either.

“Sorry.” Barron abandoned his slouch against the fence, snapping to attention fast enough to make the muscles in his back protest. “Yes, Mr. Hodge?” He’d better straighten up and fly right. The same words his father enjoyed snapping at him on a damn near daily basis echoed in his mind.

“Your permission?”

Barron dug the frayed slipcard out of his back pocket. They were supposed to last the entire school career from their very first day, but his saw a lot of mileage. Demotions, detentions, parent notes… they’d probably have cut down an entire forest just for him if they still sent letters home. “Got it.” He handed it over to his teacher who stuck it in his reader, eyeing the screen until it beeped.

“Oh good, not forged for once.”

“Who’d do that? It’s a field trip to a cave.” He frowned. Barron saved his forges for important things, like covering for when he had to skip. He didn’t want anyone knowing he took off school to head over to the used bookstore to attend seminars by Erink Brogherd. The guy was local, but he was going to be a big-name author one day. Barron followed his blog and always attended his talks.

“One never knows, Mr. Pernell.” Mr. Hodge handed back his slipcard. Barron shoved it into his pocket, already back to watching the new guy. He leaned against the fence, hanging on with his hands above his head; a chunky watch covered one wrist and the other was layered with leather, yarn, and cord bracelets.

How old-fashioned.

“Time to go!” Mr. Hodge shouted. “Two to a seat.”

Barron barreled on to the first bus to nab the last seat. He hated feeling knees in his back from idiots behind him. “Hey, Creed, sit with me.” His friend was skinny as a rail. Barron would get more of the seat if Creed sat with him.

Thavin and William sat in front of them. Barron reached up and yanked on Thavin’s hair.

“What the hell, man?”

“It’s getting too long.” Barron tugged on it again. “You need a cut.” He’d only get to keep his friends as friends if they toed the line his dad made him toe. So he put pressure on them when he had to. He needed his friends. Luckily, they’d been listening to him for years and didn’t really question it anymore.

“Whatever.” Thavin turned sideways in the seat. “I’ll do it tomorrow.”

“Man, can you believe they’re making us go on this trip again? How many times have we seen the Doestrin caves?”

“Every other year since we were old enough not to piss our pants in the dark.” Creed pulled a pack of gum out of his pocket.

“Nah.” Barron shook his head when Creed offered it to him.

“What kind?” William was a mooch, but he was picky about the kind of gum he’d chew.

“CafĂ© Mocha.”

“Kick ass. Gimme.” William had a thing for retro sayings. Had to match the name his parents had saddled him with. He snagged two pieces.

“Hey pig, just one,” Creed objected.

“I am.” He offered one square to Thavin.

“You know I don’t like that caffeinated crap.” Thavin shook his head.

“Guess I’ll just have to keep both squares.” William popped them both in his mouth and chewed quickly. “Hmm… good.”

“Dumbass.” Creed smacked him upside the head. “Those better last you all day.”

“Yeah, well, I’m gonna need them to stay awake. I’m sick of these cave trips too. Thank God we graduate next month.”

“Let me have your attention, please.” Mr. Hodge stood at the front of the bus. “We have an hour-long ride to the caves.” He rolled his eyes at the groan. “Followed by a four-hour tour of the caves.”

“What?” Thavin frowned. “Tours are two hours.”

“Hey, Mr. Hodge, what gives?” William shouted over everyone.

“I will explain if you guys can shut your traps for a few minutes, so stop talking.” Mr. Hodge was actually a pretty cool guy for an older teacher. He wore jeans and button-up shirts over a tee most days. None of the suits and loafers some teachers wore. He had a sense of humor, too.

Most of the time.

“This trip to the caves is for the senior class. I know you guys have been to the Doestrin cave system and really enjoy it”—he rolled his eyes at their boos—“but there are some very delicate crystalline structures down a tunnel at the back of the caves you’ve never seen. We hope that by now, as seniors about to graduate, you can be trusted into an area of the caves not generally open to the public. You have no idea how much the fines will be if we’re wrong. Fines that the school will not pay, by the way.”

Mr. Hodge sat in the seat behind the auto driver controls. As soon as their scheduled departure time hit, the bus started up and began the drive out of the city to Doestrin National Park.

Buses weren’t all that different from the ones his grandpa told him about. Kids were still crammed into uncomfortable seats, the buses were loud, and they bounced a lot more than anything with hover air tires should. Barron wished he could’ve driven his car. It’d taken him three summers to earn the money himself, but he was determined to have some freedom over the summer when he wasn’t working for his father’s firm.

Barron sat back and listened to his friends bullshit each other about the party last weekend. He hadn’t gone. His dad had grounded him for the less-than-perfect grade on his trig exam. Not that it mattered what he got. Barron was going to Parks University in the fall, tuition already paid for the first semester.

His friends were all going too. Barron idly scanned the bus. The preppy girls all sat together a few seats in front of them, their squeals audible over the hum of the anti-grav motor under the bus.

What were they squealing over? Abbe and Hazea had their heads together, leaning forward to talk to the people in front of them. He could tell it was the twins by their garish purple hair. One ducked down and Barron stiffened.

The new kid sat with his back to the window, talking to the girls seated around him. They were all fascinated by him, of course. Barron hadn’t seen him get on their bus. The guy flicked his hair back over his shoulder. Barron ground his teeth together.

“Hey, Bar, what’s up?” Creed followed the direction of his gaze. “Ahh, the new guy. Who moves right before graduation?”

“Someone who shouldn’t be happy. Of course he’s surrounded by all those girls, so of course he’s probably giddy as a pig in shit.”

Barron blinked. “What the hell did you just say?”

Creed grinned. His orange hair, pale skin, and gap-toothed grin always made him look like a jack-o’-lantern to Barron. The guy was stick thin, but he had a round face. He shrugged. “William, of course.”

“Hey, that’s a good one!” William snickered. “My gram taught me it. She grew up on a farm. Back when they actually had farms, that is.”

“Whatever.” Barron went back to staring at the new guy.

“His name’s Revi Pore-something or other.” Thavin frowned. “I don’t remember exactly. He moved from Alabama? I think.” He worked in the office and often got them information before everyone else got it. “I processed his ID file yesterday for his slipcard. Wherever he lived last was super slow sending the data.”

Revi.

“He looks like a girl,” Barron muttered.

“Yeah, you and your obsession with hair. He’s gotta set your OCD on fire.” Thavin snapped his fingers. “Porter. That’s his last name.”

“Or maybe other parts of him are on fire.” William raised his eyebrows and leered at him. Barron reached up and smacked him upside the head.

“Knock it off. He’s not my type.” Barron sank down, wedging his knees against the seat in front of him. “Wake me up when we get there.” He closed his eyes, but he didn’t sleep. If he listened hard, and filtered out all the other sounds, he could hear him. The new guy.

Revi.

His drawl stood out against the clipped tones of the guys and high-pitched gabbing girls. His looks might drive Barron crazy, but his voice was very… nice. Shit.

Not part of the program. Barron was going to find a nice jock boyfriend who liked sports and beer and could hold a conversation with his dad.

Barron’s irritation spiked as he ended up standing behind the kid as everyone shuffled off the bus. He should have made William and Thavin go first. Two of the girls had stepped into a seat by their friend so they could get off together. Of course he waved them ahead of him with a campy limp wrist wave, removing the buffer between Barron and the annoyance that was Revi Porter.

The guy didn’t even shuffle like the rest of them. He might as well have minced down the aisle. Barron clenched his hands into fists. They approached the steps, and he couldn’t take it anymore. When Revi went to step down, Barron kicked his back foot, pushing it off the edge of the step.

Revi stumbled down the steps, yelping as he twisted and then fell onto the rough gravel parking lot. Barron smirked, and then glanced over his shoulder at his friends.

“Whoops. I’m so clumsy.”

Wednesday Brief: Lost Inside Chapter 29

I'm having uch a good week! I hope you are too. It's been a while in the making, but I hope you enjoy this chapter! It was inspired by the prompt: Have a square dance in your story. Thanks for reading... and remember that other free story coming up soon? Soon has been upgrade to SOON! *winks*

Lost Inside Chapter 29

“I don’t care where the fuck you were, or why you let them get us that far. Sheshtun hurt my mate. All the evidence you could possibly need is right here at my location.” Benny glared at the back of the doc’s head as he stood by the back of the truck, his head swiveling around constantly as he peered around. Discreet. Benny snarled into the phone.

“Benny, I’m sorry. We’re just outside town now. The teams are getting in place. I need your intel.”

“Too damn bad. Besides, I got you a prime intel source—ready and willing to tell you anything you want to know. I’m taking my mate. We’ll be in touch.” Later. Much later, if Benny had anything to say about it. He handed the waitress back the phone, thanking her for the use of the old-fashioned cordless, and took the bag holding five boxes of the daily special.

The atm in the corner by the bathroom coughed up a few hundred dollars, and he was out. He strode over to the truck and dropped the bag in on the bench seat through the passenger window. He dug the keys out of his pocket. “Go stand by the diner door and wait. Someone will be here soon to get you.”

If eyes could fall out of someone’s head, the doc’s would’ve been rolling on the ground at his feet. “Wh-what? No! No, please don’t leave me here.” He wrung his hands.

“Relax. It’s not Sheshtun’s guys. Velaku and his mate are on their way here, and they’re only minutes away. Tell them everything you know, or you’ll be sorry.” His threat probably didn’t soothe the terrified Tiger, but Benny didn’t care. He’d backed away far enough from the vehicle so Benny could leave.

He had to wait to get Yuri out of the back. He watched his mirror more than he did the road until he could safely pull off in a dark alley. He uncovered his mate carefully, tears burning in his eyes as he rubbed Yuri’s cheek. His mate was still limp. “We’re gonna be okay. Promise.”

Getting Yuri into the truck wasn’t easy, and Benny was sweating by the time he managed, but a few minutes later he was able to ease behind the wheel with his mate’s body tucked up against his. He drove back roads to the next town to the east and then eased onto the freeway.

There was a Carthera owned retreat about two hours away they’d stayed at when Benny had smuggled his mate out of Sheshtun’s territory the year before. The cabins were spaced out and private, set back in the woods away from the humans.

It was just what they needed. Thankfully the guards hadn’t taken Benny’s wallet. Yuri was starting to move sluggishly when Benny slid him down on the bench seat while he went in and arranged for a rental. By the time Benny got back out, his mate was partially uncovered and blinking slowly, his eyes opening wider each time.

His cock was standing rigid, bulging under the blanket. Benny could still feel the lust inside him, growing stronger as the sedatives wore off.

“Gotta hurry,” Benny muttered. He had a feeling his mate would be all over him, regardless of where they were or what supplies Benny could scrounge up. Yuri might get upset, when the shit his bastard of a father injected him with wore off, if he hurt Benny. Not that it mattered.

Benny’s need was growing, too. He slammed on the brakes outside of their cabin. Getting Yuri out of the truck was a lot easier.  Benny gasped when Yuri’s chest smacked against him. He was blazing hot, his stripes dark against his skin. They stumbled around in a little do-si-do move straight out of square dance, arms linked together. Benny finally got them up against the door so he could unlock it.

“Mmm.” Yuri nuzzled against his neck, still nearly dead weight. “Mate,” he said in a thick growl.

Benny’s cock was going to tear through his jeans at any moment. They stumbled into the cabin and Benny went straight for the bed.

Yuri flopped down on his back. He beckoned to Benny, his claws out as he kneaded the air. “Need.” His voice was off, spacey as his blown pupils suggested. Yuri whines. “It hurts.”

“Just a minute.” Lube. Benny was going to need something slick. Anything. He rushed into the bathroom, stripping and tossing his shirt to the floor. He scanned the counter as he flicked open the button on his pants and carefully unzipped. He didn’t want to catch anything. The relief as his cock was released was intense.

“Lotion.” Thank fuck. Definitely better than spit. Benny shoved his pants down, then growled when they hung up on his boots. His fingers shook as he untied them and kicked his boots off.

Yuri’s ears were flat to his head, and he growled when Benny got back in the main room. “Come.”

Oh god. Yuri was on his hands and knees on the bed. Benny dumped some lotion into his hand. It was cold. He hissed as he worked to open himself. It’d been a while, a full year since he’d had anything inside him, and that shit was cold!

His mate’s low growl sent a shiver up Benny’s spine. He was so horny, and it’d been so long. As soon as Benny got within arm’s reach of Yuri, his mate had him on the bed and on his back.

Benny moaned. He was breathing heavy and his cock was so hard it was throbbing with every racing heartbeat. Yuri split his legs wide apart and thrust home in a single lunge.

“Fuck,” Benny hissed. The burn rivaled the lust bouncing between their mate bond. He didn’t care. “More.”

Yuri grabbed his hands and yanked them over Benny’s head, holding him still, his arms stretched taut. He was intent, his hips smacking against Benny’s ass over and over. “Mine!”

His mate claiming him, overpowering Benny’s control, sent him over the edge. Benny shouted, coating their stomachs with cum.

Wednesday Briefs: Lost Inside Chapter 28

Oh, here we are again. Does Benny escape? Is the doc too good to be true? Do they find Yuri? Well, read on to find out. This week my update is inspired by two prompts: Have a character fall and use the words: fist, fly, and bones. Enjoy!

Lost Inside Chapter 28

“Hurry up!” Benny hissed. The doctor frantically typed on the keyboard.

“Dump the stuff in the fridge in the sink and start the water.”

Benny snagged a bunch of beakers in the small, white fridge. Benny carefully dumped them in the sink, unsure of what they were. He didn’t want the shit on his skin. “What about these?” he whispered, holding up two racks of stoppered vials.

“Microwave.”

The Tiger was stripping file folders and throwing them in a metal garbage bin. “You can’t set a fire!” Benny reached out to stop him. “They’ll smell it!”

“I know that.” He picked up a metal beaker and poured the contents over the papers. They dissolved instantly. “Acid.”

“Are you done?” Benny’s mate needed him. “Take me to Yuri.”

The doctor stripped off his white coat and grabbed a jacket out of the closet. He took a single key off the ring hanging by the wall and pocketed it, then led Benny back out of his lab. They hustled up the stairs. “It’s dinner time, so there will only be one guard outside. I’ll distract him.” He peeked around the corner, and then pulled back and cursed. The doctor swallowed hard.

“Please don’t let him hurt me.” His eyes were pleading as he glanced up at Benny, then looked away. “Be ready.”

Benny frowned. The doctor smelled scared out of his mind but didn’t hesitate. He strolled into the hall like he’d all the time in the world. Benny kept glancing around as he listened for whatever sign he was waiting for. He could only hope the two guards weren’t discovered and no one left dinner early.

They were so close. Benny could smell his mate and feel his distress. Benny dug his claws into his palms.

“Ow!” A thud vibrated the wall. Benny risked a look. The doctor was pinned against the wall by one of the unmated guards. The male’s large hand ringed the doctor’s throat as he groped downward with the other.

Benny snarled. Another sick bastard. He stealthily crept out, hoping the guard didn’t notice the way the doctor stared over his shoulder at Benny. One blow was all it took—the guard’s forehead bounced off the wall next to the doc’s, and he collapsed to the ground with a faint groan.

“Get him inside.” The doc grabbed a set of keys off the guard’s belt. He unlocked the door, holding it open. Benny grunted, pulling the guard by his limp arms until they were inside the room.

He dropped him and rushed over to the bed. “Yuri!” His mate was naked, writhing on the bed. He was soaked with sweat. He’d punctured his lips with his fangs and blood dripped down his cheeks and chin.

Benny had to restrain the urge to let his fists fly into the guard’s face, crushing every single bone in his body.

Yuri’s eyes were wild. As soon as Benny leaned over the bed, Yuri’s gaze snapped onto him, and he snarled. “Oh, mate.” Benny reached for the restraints.

“Don’t!” The doc jerked on Benny’s elbow. Benny snarled, slapping him away. “He can’t stop himself right now. If you remove his restraints, he’ll be all over you. We have to get out of here before the meal is over,” the doctor practically shouted in a strained whisper.

“How?” Benny ground his teeth together. The doctor pulled a syringe out of his back pocket. “What the hell is that?”

“Just a mild sedative. I can’t counter the pheromone therapy, but I can make it so he can’t act on the sexual urges.”

Benny knew they didn’t have time to argue over it or think of anything else. They had to get away, sooner rather than later. He had to report in.

“Do it.”

Yuri hissed and tried to move away from the doc, but he couldn’t. “This should work immediately.”

His mate’s struggles slowed until he was barely moving. Yuri’s eyes were thin slits as he slumped against the bed. Benny hated it, but he went to work on the restraints, unlocking them with another key from the guard’s key ring.

Benny’s hands slipped on Yuri’s sweat-slicked body, and his mate nearly fell. Benny grunted in effort, but managed to sling Yuri’s body over his shoulder in a fireman’s carry. “Go.” Hopefully they weren’t too deep inside the house.

He struggled under Yuri’s solid weight, but Benny wasn’t going to stop for anything. The doctor led the way through a few smaller halls, working their way around the outside of the house. “This is taking too long,” Benny hissed. Stabbing pain shot down his spine, and his knees were getting shaky.

“Almost there.”

“Good.” Benny grunted. He could hear Yuri’s heart speeding up again.

The final door was at the end of a dusty hallway and led out to an overgrown side garden. “I’m parked on the left of the gate.”

A final blessing, the doc’s rig was a truck. Benny winced as he slung Yuri down in the back, but he was too tired to do more than protect his head. “Do you have something to cover us?”

“Yeah.” Two tarps layered over them created a hiding spot in the back. Benny wrinkled his nose at the musty smell, but it might cover their scents from the gate guards. He curled around his mate, hoping the drugs could keep him quiet.

Benny was ready to strike as they slowed and stopped. He could hear every word of the guard and the doc. This was the final moment of truth—Benny couldn’t put it past Sheshtun to let them get this far and then pounce. Yuri’s dad was a sadistic bastard.

As the truck slowly turned and then built up speed, Benny had to fight off the aftereffects of the adrenaline coursing through him. He was exhausted, bruised and bloody, and inside the pain Yuri still felt was slowly driving them both mad.

He had to get to a phone, but then he was taking his mate somewhere no one would find them.

Special Flash! A Surprise Inside: Wednesday Briefers at Beth Wylde

This June, in honor of Gay Pride month, the Briefers decided to take part in the Beth Wylde special events taking place all month long. We came up with a special themed storyline, centered around a gay cruise, with a host of secondary characters we can all use to interact with our original stories and main characters. This is totally separate from our regular weekly flashes, and we have some fun stuff also going on at Beth Wylde today. You can learn more about the Briefers, chat with us, offer up some ideas and comments, AND win some prizes, including 3 $25 gift cards provided by our members.

For those who can't join in the Beth Wylde event, for whatever reason, I'm sharing my flash here. But I'd love to see you come comment on the group, (it'll be real lonely if no one shows up to talk with us!) and I'll be on a good part of the day. The link to the group will be at the bottom of the flash, if you need it.

A Surprise Inside

“Nuh-uh. No way.”

“C’mon, babe. It’ll be fun.” Hagan bent over Kelly, his wide shoulders blocking out the glow shining through the porthole from the rainbow lights in the pool. “You know you’ll blow them all out of the water.”

“We’re on a ship. I don’t want to hear about things blowing out of the water. That’s gotta be bad luck or something.” Kelly gripped the headboard. “Besides, you can’t make me.”

“I can.” Hagan sounded so sure of himself. It was the one thing that always made Kelly melt. He stroked a hand up Kelly’s smooth leg. “You know I can.”

Kelly slid his hands up the rails on the headboard and revealed his cuffs. “I hid the key.”

Hagan chuckled. “You’ve got them close. You’re trying to distract me so you can get out of the drag race. I’ll feel you up, trying to find the key, and we won’t make it out of our suite tonight.”

“Maybe.” Kelly arched his back and slid his legs apart. His silky bikinis stretched tight over his growing cock and balls. He knew exactly how he looked. As always, the sight of Kelly in his sexy underwear got the reaction he wanted from his boyfriend.

Fiancé.

“The prize is a gold trophy. You know you like gold.” Hagan crawled on the bed and hovered over him.  “Along with other sparkly, shiny things.”

Waving one hand, Kelly said, “I have all the gold I need.” His engagement ring flashed in the shimmering light dancing through the room. “I’m not going to run around the ship in heels just because I’d beat the pantyhose off the posers tottering around in them for the first time. I’m not gonna sing in the talent show either, so don’t ask me to. No shows this trip.

“I’m here to spend lots of lazy days and nights in bed with my fiancĂ© until he becomes my husband during a romantic, tropical cruise wedding. I don’t want anyone’s eyes on me but yours.” Kelly lifted his hips, rubbing his erection against Hagan’s stomach.

“Not possible. You’re way too sexy.”

Kelly smiled. He’d dated a lot of losers who didn’t like his femme style, and one who’d flat out thought cross-dressing in drag shows a sign of mental illness. Sometimes even gay men could be intolerant. But Hagan never made him feel like a freak.

He turned over between Hagan’s legs, going up on his knees with his arms crossed over his head. The only thing Hagan liked more than seeing Kelly in panties was taking them off.

And when he did, he’d see another pretty gold thing Kelly already had.

“So are you going to search me for the key, or not?”

“Oh, I think I have to.” Hagan traced tickling lines down Kelly’s slim back and sides. “Nothing there. What about here?” He cupped Kelly’s cheeks through his silky bikinis, then slid his fingers under the edges, stroking the sensitive skin between his legs.

Kelly gasped and pushed backward into the touch. “Take them off.” He turned his head sideways so he could watch. Kelly wanted to see Hagan’s face.

“Oh, damn.” Hagan froze, Kelly’s underwear halfway down his thighs. He swallowed. “That’s… new.”

“Just for this trip.” Kelly spread his knees as far as he could and arched. “Just for you.”

“Is it real?”

“The handle is.” The gold vibrator was a heavy weight filling him inside and out. “So, better than any trophy?”

Hagan slid his fingers down Kelly’s crack and then tapped the base of the vibrator.

“Mmm.” The tip of the thick toy tapped his prostate, sending sparks to his balls. Kelly’s cock began to drip. He’d spent the entire time Hagan was speaking with the chief steward working the toy inside and driving himself crazy thinking about how Hagan would use it.

His man didn’t disappoint. He toyed with Kelly until he was moaning continuously, and only then did he turn it on. Hagan drove him to the brink, trembling on the edge until he begged.

Hagan pulled the toy out and curled around him. Their lips met in a heated kiss as Hagan drove inside Kelly in one thrust.

“Oh, yeah.” Nothing felt as good as Hagan did. They fit together, even sweaty, sticky, and….

“God!” Kelly shuddered under Hagan and thrust into his rough hand encircling Kelly’s prick. He didn’t know which way to move, but he couldn’t stay still as passion burned through his body, setting him on fire.

Hagan grabbed his hip and pulled Kelly back as he pushed inside to the hilt, their bodies slapping together. They raced for completion, unable to slow, their need too great.

“Kelly!” Hagan squeezed, his grip almost bruising, and stilled. Captured, not quite there, Kelly fought Hagan’s hold, desperate to come.

“Please,” he begged. “Don’t stop.”

Hagan touched the gold ring piercing Kelly’s cock, tugging on it. The move always, always set Kelly off. Hagan shouted as Kelly’s orgasm pushed him over the brink.

They collapsed to the bed. “I love you,” Kelly panted.

“I love you too.” Hagan ran his hands up Kelly’s arms to the cuffs. He tapped Kelly’s right fist. “Now give me the key before your hands go numb.”

***

Hagan stood in a traditional tuxedo, Kelly on his arm as the captain said the words that would entwine their two lives into one. His beautiful man posed, so self-assured, in his tailored suit and pale lavender blouse. The jacket was tucked at the sides, showing Kelly’s trim figure from his wide shoulders to his slender waist.

Life with Kelly was one surprise after another. He was nothing like Hagan first thought, seeing him all dolled up. He was glad he’d said yes to Kelly’s proposal, though it came only months after they met, because Kelly’s love was as essential to Hagan as breathing.

And once they were married, he had something planned for Kelly… after all, his soon-to-be husband couldn’t be the only one plotting sexy surprises.

Oh, and good news! There will be more. Who'd like to know just how Hagan and Kelly met? Look for their story to come soon as a novella eBook!
